Terms and Conditions

PressureTesting.ca provides professional pressure testing and system verification services, including but not limited to:

• Hydrostatic pressure testing
• Air pressure testing
• Plumbing system verification
• Building envelope testing
• Gas line pressure testing
• Municipal and industrial system testing

All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and technical feasibility. Service scope, methodology, and deliverables will be defined in project-specific agreements or quotes.

Clients engaging our services agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about the project and testing requirements
• Ensure safe site access and working conditions for our technicians
• Provide necessary utilities (water, electricity) as required for testing
• Obtain all necessary permits and approvals before testing begins
• Ensure the system to be tested is properly prepared and accessible
• Be available or designate a representative during testing
• Address any identified issues or failures promptly
• Maintain insurance coverage for their property and projects

Scheduling: Testing appointments are scheduled based on availability and project requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested dates and times.

Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Weather and Site Conditions: We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule testing due to unsafe weather conditions, site access issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Quotes: All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Pricing is based on information provided at the time of quoting and may be adjusted if project scope changes.

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements are made in writing. We accept payment by cash, check, e-transfer, or credit card.

Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

Additional Services: Any additional testing, re-testing, or services beyond the original scope will be billed separately at our standard rates.

We provide testing results based on accepted industry standards and engineering methodologies. Our reports document:

• Testing methodology and parameters
• Pressure readings and measurements
• Pass/fail results based on applicable codes
• Observations and recommendations

Results are provided for the specific system tested at the time of testing. We are not responsible for subsequent changes, damage, or failures occurring after testing is completed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, defects, or workmanship issues
• Testing does not guarantee future performance or identify all potential issues
• We are not liable for damage caused by client-provided systems or materials
• Our reports are for the client's use only and should not be relied upon by third parties without our written consent

We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. However:

• We make no warranties regarding the systems being tested
• Testing identifies conditions at a specific point in time and does not guarantee future performance
• We are not responsible for the design, installation, or maintenance of tested systems
• All warranties are limited to re-performance of services or refund of fees paid

In the event of a dispute:

• Parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
• If unresolved, disputes will be subject to mediation before proceeding to litigation
• These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada
• Jurisdiction is limited to the courts of British Columbia

Use of our website is subject to the following:
